Hi Lauren - I’m thinking about how best to incorporate community into this framework - how to get from individuals moving around the landscape to groups moving around and affecting the landscape. Your mention of humility might be a way to make that tie. These are just first impressions - maybe I’ll have more to say after some time in your 4-d landscape! (Hope so - it’s a promising metaphor)

Hi Lynn, I think communities fit well in the second dimension. That's where we can zoom in and out to the various groups and identities that individuals are a part of. But groups move through this space similarly to individuals. They need to watch for pits, be aware of time horizons, historical baggage, and lots of other things. And they need to recognize tradeoffs and accept complexity too. I'd love to hear more about what you're thinking on the humility front. Thanks as always for commenting! Your thoughts help me clarify things in my own brain too.
